Scott R. Jensen

​Scott R. Jensen writes fantasy and science fiction for teens and adults. Over the years, his writing has received several awards, including Honorable Mention and Silver Honorable Mention in L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future Contest. 

Scott was born and raised in Payson, Utah. After graduating from high school, he moved to Colombia, South America. Two years later, Scott returned to the United States to study mechanical engineering. He received a B.S. from Brigham Young University and an M.S. from Utah State University. His fifteen years of engineering experience include design and analysis of satellite control systems, nuclear waste processing equipment, and nuclear facilities. 

Scott currently lives in Southeastern Idaho with his wife, four kids, and overly energetic dog. Together, they enjoy hiking, camping, spelunking, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and ridiculously long (50k+) walks.
